Welcome to the second sewing class! In today’s class I am going to show you some tools that the professionals use and that I suggest you have for these classes.
Although we are going to see some quite common tools, I am also going to show you some tools that were not originally intended for sewing but now I cannot sew without them.
I’m also going to show you some tools that I use when ironing, such as the tailor’s ham and the sleeve roll.
When you are learning to sew it is normal to make mistakes, so I am also going to teach you different ways of unpicking the fabric to save you time.
And to finish today’s class, we are also going to start to see the different feet that we can use to make it easier for us.

As I have already told you in class, some of the tools are useful for me and my way of sewing. There are some I hardly use but since I have them in the atelier (workshop), I have shown them to you just in case they can be useful.
