How to thread the sewing machine (domestic and industrial)

Welcome to the third sewing class! In today’s class I am going to teach you how to thread your sewing machine.

Although each machine is different, most sewing machines are threaded the same way. In this class you will see how it is done for a domestic sewing machine and for an industrial sewing machine.

If you have the instruction manual for your sewing machine please be sure to follow it!!

In the years that I have been working in the fashion world, I have found that there are two different ways to thread the sewing machine. Today I’m going to show you the one that I personally use, so as not to confuse you.

As you will see in class, make sure to pass the thread as instructed and make sure that the tension plates on your sewing machine have the correct tension.

I will also show you how to make the bobbin correctly and how to place it in the sewing machine.

As an extra, I am going to teach you a trick on how to make the bobbin in a much faster way so that you can save time on the industrial sewing machine.
