Welcome to a new class in the sewing club. In today’s class, I’m going to teach you how to sew arms for a mannequin.
You’ll find the patterns right below the class video so you can download them.
Remember that they are only included in the membership for a limited time, so I recommend that you download them as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
For these mannequin arms, I offer two different versions: full size or half scale.
The beauty of these mannequin arms is that they are attached to a yoke, making them very easy to use.
Unlike other arms that you have to pin on and make sure you put them at the correct angle, these attach themselves to the body.

Pattern information
- The difficulty level would be an intermediate level 3/5. It’s not difficult, but it has some fairly steep curves.
- If you work on a medium scale, it can get a little complicated with the patterns that close the sleeve (wrist and armpit).
- As a recommended fabric, I suggest calico for the main fabric and wadding for filling (although you can fill it with scraps, but I personally don’t recommend it)
- You will need:
- 0.7 meters of calico for the actual size and 0.35 meters for the half scale.
- For the wadding, it will depend on the thickness, but I have used 1.4 meters for the actual size and 0.7 meters for the half scale.
- Seam allowance included
Remember that if you have any questions about today’s class, you can always send me an email through your student account, in the support section.
Submit your work
You know that the best way to learn is by practising, so if you have a mannequin, I recommend you make these mannequin arms.
Furthermore, it’s a very useful tool to have in your workshop.
If you would like feedback on your mannequin arms, you can send me photos of your results.
Please try to make sure the photos are clear and accurate so I can give you better feedback.
