Welcome to this new pattern making class, you have just taken one of your first steps to become a professional pattern maker and/or fashion designer. In today’s class I am going to teach you the tools you will need to start making patterns.
As you can see in today’s class, I am going to show you what tools I am going to use in this course and how to use them.
As in every profession, there are essential tools of the trade. In today’s class we are going to talk about the rules that I use, what paper I recommend using and many other tools that you will need in the fashion world.
As I explain in the video, you don’t have to buy all the tools at once, we can achieve the same result without them but they make our lives easier to have them next to us.
In addition to the tools, I will also recommend what type of table to use to make patterns to make sure you don’t hurt your back.
In the Extra Material section, I am going to leave you a small list with some links on where to buy some of these tools so that it is easier for you to find everything.
