Welcome to this new pattern making class, in today’s class we are going to learn how to make the sleeve block.
There are different methods to draft the sleeve block and I have chosen to show you the one that I think is the easiest.
The class begins with a little theory so that you visualize the pattern and its parts before starting to make it.
Then I will show you how to take the necessary measuments to make this pattern.
In the extra material section you will find my industrial measurements table for size 8 (UK).

As you have already seen in today’s class, the crown/cup of the sleeve determines its movement and its fall.
That is why we will have to modify it depending on the type of clothing we are going to make but that is for more advanced classes.
As always, if you have any questions, you can send me an email through your account in the support section.

The best way to learn pattern making is to do it yourself, so for this class, I am going to ask you to make this pattern.
Remember that, so I can send you better feedback, please try to send me photos where the pattern and annotations can be seen clearly.
