How to make a halter neckline with bare shoulders

Welcome to a new pattern making class, in today’s class, I am going to teach you how to make a halter neckline with bare shoulders.

This design is also known as a halter collar and is characterized by having bare shoulders.

In other words, there is no fabric on the shoulders and this design is attached to the neck collar.

The back is also attached to the collar where we will put a zip as an opening system.

Today’s class begins by enlarging the armhole to make this design more comfortable to wear.

Once we have enlarged the armhole, we will create this silhouette so characteristic of the halter neckline.

At this point, I like to create the collar pattern since it is a very visual way to see what we are doing.

Next, we will return to the bodice patterns and remove the ease so that this silhouette is perfect.

Remember that it is important that you follow the order of the classes.

To make sure you understand what we are doing, That’s why you should first see the type of corrective darts.

To finish, we will transform the dart into volume to gather in the front.

It is important to make prototypes to make sure everything is perfect before cutting the final fabric.
