Welcome to a new pattern making class, in today’s class, I am going to teach you how to make a tiered circle (ruffles) skirt
There are different ways to make a ruffled skirt. Today I am going to show you the most common way that we do in luxury but still in an industrial way.
Today’s skirt has an internal structure where the ruffles will be sewn, again, this structure can be done in different ways.
Today’s class begins by making a transformation to make an A-Line skirt, this will help us create the structure and the final shape that we want our skirt to have.
This class is a continuation of the circle skirts class, so I recommend that you watch that class before doing this one.

In today’s class we are going to make a pin hem to make the hem of the ruffles, I already taught you how to do it in that sewing class.
As always, I am going to give you all the necessary measurements to carry out this sample, but also in this class, I am going to give you the measurements that they are giving me.
Please keep in mind that I give you my own measurements so that you can better understand the class, but you have to use the measurements that your patterns give you.
If your measurements are different, it doesn’t mean it’s wrong, just your curved lines may be different from mine.
Remember that if you have any questions about today’s class, you can always send me your questions from your account in the support section.
Send your exercises
You already know that the best way to learn industrial pattern making is by practicing, so for today’s class I’m going to ask you to make a tiered circle skirt.
You can send me these patterns in real size or half scale.
Please try to make the photos of your patterns and their annotations clearly visible so that I can send you better comments.
